Story

A film for the organisation that put the circular economy on the global agenda.

Julie Hjort starts from a simple observation: almost everything around us was designed by someone. The chair, the packaging, the building, the system that moves it all around. If it was designed, it can be designed differently - and that is where a circular transition actually begins, long before anything gets recycled.

At the time she was Director of Sustainable Transition at the Danish Design Center. The Foundation commissioned the shooting in Copenhagen from the United Kingdom and later edited and published it on their own channels.
