Cinematic Impact Films
Impact film - why it matters
Impact work is usually full of facts, reports and good intentions. The hard part is making anyone feel why it matters.
I direct documentary and campaign films for NGOs, global health programmes, foundations, public authorities and companies working with CSR and ESG.
The work usually starts with something that resists being explained: a health issue, a field programme, a strategy, a person whose story is hard to tell. My job is to turn it into something human, cinematic and emotionally clear.
Who I work for
I have worked with organisations and brands including Novo Nordisk, UNHCR, Médecins Sans Frontières, the Danish Red Cross, the Danish Health Authority, Alcohol & Society, the Danish Heart Association and The Melting Pot Foundation.
Several of these collaborations have run over many years and across formats from portraits and field films to national TV campaigns and longer branded documentaries.
I directed a cinematic health film about ordinary choices, risk and consequence for Novo Nordisk and won Grand Prix and Best Directing at both Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards and the EVCOM Film Awards in London in 2025.
