Freethink - Using our streets all wrong
Shot partly in Copenhagen with Gehl Architects, whose work on human-scale city planning runs through the whole episode. Freethink from USA has three times commissioned me to do this kind of local shooting in Copenhagen for them.

Story
A film for Freethink's Hard Reset series, about why city streets are built for cars and what happens when people get the space back.
The argument running through the episode comes from Gehl: street space is a choice, not a given. If a city wants people walking and cycling, it has to give them room to do it. Ewa Westermark makes that case in the film, and the Copenhagen material shows what it looks like in a city that made the choice decades ago.
Freethink commissioned the Danish shooting from the United States and edited and published the episode on their own channels. They have asked us to do this kind of local shooting in Copenhagen three times.
